Hi!
There are three options to play a game on Gog.
Install button in Gog Galaxy.
Download an offline instalator through Gog Galaxy.
Download an offline instalator from the Gog site.
For some reason if i install this game through Gog Galaxy my game behaves like its in a different version that the one installed from an offline instalator downloaded through Gog Galaxy.
What are the symptoms?
When i put saves from a version installed through Gog Galaxy install button to a version installed from an offline instalator (downloaded by Gog Galaxy) the game will load a save only once. After that any other atempt to reload a said save or to load any other ends with "save invalid" response. If i try to save a game state after ive loaded any save the game responds with "disk full" information. I also can't really see other saves that i have on my hdd. Returning to the game menu and trying again wont change anything.
If i uninstall my offline instalator version of the game and reinstall it through install button in Gog Galaxy saves are loading again without problems and i can also make a new saves.
I know that most people will savy that its not a problem just play from Gog Galaxy version or keep using offline instalator version and problem solved.
For me its a problem that it seems that the version of a game from Gog Galaxy is a different one or at least, works like a different one that the one ive downloaded as an offline instalator. We already had a similar problem with the Metro Exodus game where Enhanced version of Metro Exodus didnt let you play DLC while the "Original version" worked as it should. Recently i noticed more and more problems like that on Gog and why i and many other buy on Gog? Because we want our games to be really ours. We want them to work offline on 100%. We finally want our games to work interchangeably between Gog Galaxy verxion and an offline instalator one.
If someone have an idea whats wrong here or what should i do please tell me. Maybe there is a way to make those saves work properly in any version of this game?
