Some internet connections dont work the same as they did in 1994. Does anyone know if you can still link up with a friend and play against them with this game?

It seems like it might be doable, but it requires setup on both ends. I'm not sure on specifics with Dark Legions, sadly, but here's what I've found:

- This is the official DOSBox page on setting up internet and modem connections.
- A guide on Vogons on how to setup direct serial and modem games.
- This page discusses how to setup a modem game for Lords of the Realm, which has a similar setup to Dark Legions.

From here, it might be good to find a friend and see if you can get a modem game going. Dark Legions also supports direct connection (direct serial?) according to the manual, which might be the easier option.
