plumgas: well lost souls is a fairly new game so I should imagine it won't be on gog for a while. I actually downloaded it for $5.00 from directdrive2

Yes, we probably won't be seeing Lost Souls here anytime soon. And it looks i got my copy on the same promo you did, 5 bucks on Direct2Drive ;)

shakantala: I love horror games. Probably my favorite games of all time are Shivers and Shivers II: Harvest of Souls--both of which involve exploring a haunted, abandoned location and solving puzzles to unravel the mystery.

PimPamPet: I think I may have said this before, but... These games really need to be on GOG!
If you like scary games like that, you ought to take a look at Scratches. Holy shit in a creek, that game has creepy atmosphere in spades! I only watched a commentary-free let's play on YouTube and that was enough to keep me sleepless for days. God damn.

You probably should stay away from Amnesia: The Dark Descent then ;)

I've actually tried the demo, but as soon as I saw the first monster I fear-quitted :P
Instead I tried watching a really great LP of it, and ended up subscribing to the guys and wasting DAYS of my life watching his LPs.

Thanks a lot, Amnesia! :P

Yeah, the game is extremely competent in the horror department even if it felt lacking a bit in the adventure department.

In any case, trully a unique experience as far as horror in games goes. Nothing like playing it late at night, home alone, lights out, headphones blasting, on one of those nights where the the wind makes the curtains in the room you're playing in move a bit every now and then ;)
