I just started playing Darkfall 2 (original version) and I'm already confused. After turning a few pages in the journal on the bed, it shows two framed pictures of birds and then suddenly you are facing a wall with these two pictures on it. And you're in a different room that you can walk around and explore.

Can someone explain to me what in the world just happened?? One minute I'm reading a journal and the next I'm in some other room with no apparent connection to what I was just doing? Even if it's supposed to be somewhat confusing, there isn't even an indication that the main character IS confused or disoriented. You're just suddenly in another room!

Actually if you click the pictures, you don't leave at all and just return back to where you were, literally leaving you stuck with no where to go. So you have to KNOW, somehow, that you have changed locations and look around. Such a stupid thing to have done. WTF are these guys thinking? I had to figure it out using a damn walkthrough. Really don't like these games that I have to follow every single little nuance some director thought up in his little brain or know exactly when to press this little button hidden from view and placed in a spot that really isn't logical at all.
