I am asking about the first game, The Journal.
It's like FRAPS doesn't even start recording and the framerate number doesn't appear either.
When I "finish" recording I check and there is no file at all.

Doesn't work properly. While it captures gameplay, it doesn't capture the sound effects. Yes I did check the settings.
Also it doesn't seem to be able to record at high framerate for some reason.

ok found a way to do it.
I used a program which forces windowed mode on dx games. Then set the FRAPS to capture desktop/aero and it worked like that.

I use a application to record screen on Windows, which can record video with audio in high quality. You can also customize frame rate, sample rate, bit rate, resolution, volume, channel, etc. in your own way.
