Due to rights and legal issues, we have had to remove the Dark Fall series from sale immediately. Apologies for the lack of notice, and we hope that the problem can get sorted out soon so we can return it to the store.

Damn it, always sucks to have to remove games. Do you mind me posting it in the General Forum as well, or would you rather post it yourself?

Because if you don't, some obsessed forum-dweller will notice that the 'total games' count on the front page is off, figure out which games are down, post about it in general and get all offended that you "didn't tell them"?

Not describing myself, BTW - this is just the pattern I have noticed. But more generally, I would counter by saying that people like to be kept informed about what's going on, whether or not they can do anything about it. They don't like have to learn about it "through the grapevine", as it were. It's a small gesture that does a lot to keep people from getting incensed.

Hope you get the issues sorted out - I'm a big fan of these games.

What the heck ?! The counter went DOWN !!!!!

More serisously, the funny 'thing' in this story is that by reading the thread "<insert_gameDev> is disappointed in GOG" , I just realised I was once interested in Darkfall and this story drew my attention and now I want to wishlist it (and I read some other people thought the same). Bottom line : making games disappear is markettingly effective (at least with fanboys, as I just discovered meself to be :/ )

One last thing : who stole that damn changelog ? It's at least the 26th time in 4 years someone take it and don't put it back !!

Dammit. I had these in my wishlist and I barely just find out they are gone. Would be nice if you let us know about games being removed in the front page, in the news section.

lol I had these games on my wishlist for some time now, I didn't even notice they were gone til I saw the update they were added back. Well good news in any case.
