SOLVED: Apologies. I thought this was strictly a WIN10 problem but it is just a general later version compatibility issue. I set compatibility to WIN7 and all is fixed. Sorry if you wasted your time reading this question!
Saw that DF2 was on sale and forgot to look to see compatibility with WIN10. The game starts, lots of flickering images (I believe more than what is really part of the game) and then the screen goes black. I have a + cursor that moves but nothing else. Only way out is to hit the WIN key and right click the game icon on the bar to shut it down.
Any thoughts on if anyone has gotten this to play on 10 and if so, how? It was only $1.50 so not losing much but would be curious if it can be made playable.
