Yes, the multiplayer (including coop mode) still works. But you might want to install the community patch 1.3 to get the master server working if you plan on playing the game through the internet. But it's not required. You can just host a game on your own, give server address to your friends and they'll able to connect.

actually co op is the best feature about daikatana on the pc
