Since Sonic 2006- which is my second favourite Sonic game- is getting a fixed PC remake (I own the demo of such) and Tomb Raider: the Angel of Darkness is also getting something in the way of that:

...couldn't Daikatana get the same treatment? I've been thinking about playing this game myself to see how bad it is (escort mission sidekicks certainly will be) and I would like to see it fixed up and debugged to a level similar to what John originally intended.
If I end up liking this game once I buy it, I will have classified it as an "Autistic game". That type of game is named after my Asperger's and is my own definition for games that are deemed bad by many due to major flaws (and/or minor ones) but end up still being fun to play despite the reputation, even more so if you can dodge the major bugs or they simply almost never happen.
The aforementioned Sonic 2006 and TRAOD as well as Prince of Persia Warrior Within and Duke Nukem Forever (PC version only) fall into this category.
Debugged remakes of such games are really good ideas as they can improve it for both fans of the original, and the original games' haters too so everybody wins.
Who would be a good company to do a debugged remake of Daikatana? My choices would be either Interceptor Entertainment or (if they are up to it; I don't mind if they aren't) Crowbar Collective after they finish Black Mesa.
Would John Romero be happy that his game was given better treatment if one was made? What do you guys think about that?
