JakobFel: so it's mostly just some spitballing lol
frogthroat: This is probably the most important thing to remember. Anything, unless released by CDPR or at least confirmed by CDP or CDPR, is just spitballing and speculation.
Doesn't matter that there seems to be North Oaks Casino, because before it is in the game and accessible without trickery, nothing is certain. It may be coming, it may be an abandoned idea. Who knows.

Absolutely. Gamers today craft really unrealistic expectations in their head by putting words into developers' mouths and by believing "leakers" and "insiders" and I think that does a massive disservice to everyone, particularly developers who just can't seem to catch a break in our pathetic critic culture.
JakobFel: Well, games like Fallout have been known to offer entire new areas (albeit much smaller than the main game world) within DLCs and well, Blood and Wine for The Witcher 3 offered an entirely new area that was quite large so I suppose it's still possible. That said, I try to keep my expectations with games realistic (which is what gamers SHOULD do) so it's mostly just some spitballing lol
midrand: I just think for the DLC you are likely to see another area close to Night City rather than something far away. Toussaint was kind of standalone to the main game - I would expect something closer linked to the original for CP77 (just my gutfeel). Could well be wrong - the ending kinda suggests a journey to a far away place, but that to me is more of a sequel than DLC material.
I think that's most likely, for sure, but I wouldn't completely write off the possibility of us going somewhere completely new. I'm thinking that they'll probably stick close to NC simply because by the time the expansions are ready, it will probably be a year or two from now and they'll be wanting to gear up for the next Witcher game and the inevitable sequel to 2077.. so yeah, they'll probably not want to focus too much on developing an entirely new area like Toussaint, something that could serve as its own game, so close to the release of their next games. Still, I don't want to write it off completely.
