You want to talk about wasting peoples' time? I'll point back to any of your responses that are more than the phrase "Aim down sights time". As has already been said, not everyone's an FPS fan and not to the degree that you are. For arguments' sake, though, even if I was new to gaming etc, so what? The only thing I've learned from this experience is who game journos are talking about when they mention toxic gamers. A week ago I would have argued they don't exist to this degree, but here we are.

Halo certainly didn't have any ADS in it, and was a major competitive online FPS. Only goes to show how gramps here got his arse owned online time and time again, which is why he's bitching about how he cannot get it up anymore. Got T-Bagged too much in halo and now is whining like a little bitch about how he has AiDS.

how did you become a troll at your age? no one must like you or want to be your friend because they would have told you what ads meant before you created 4 pages of angry, name calling, and back in forth. Just accept the knowledge and move on. Nobody's gonna start calling it your thing just because you like it better, IT'S ALREADY A THING.

this game was built with the dude that invented the Cyberpunk tabletop game from before you were born so everyone involved already knows about stats. Accept you are wrong and being bullish for no reason. This is not why these forums were created. Now you know what if means... next topic.

It took me about a week to figure this out on my own. Google has no idea what to do with most acronyms and I only randomly found it in conjunction with words like "cyberpunk" and "scope" where I ended up on a modern warfare wiki instead.

An actually, on Steam - he would be muted or community banned since page 1 - by either the devs or global valve mods.

coth_rus: Sorry to disappoint you, but Halo series is barely known worldwide. It wasn't available worldwide. Mostly sold in NA and few more countries. It's only went worldwide last year on Steam, but sales aren't high, as for most gamers this series have no history.

Worldwide popularity of Halo series could raise in future with new installments, if they maintain Steam and regional pricing policy.

Halo: Combat Evolved was a huge game back in 2001. it was the original MS launch title for the original XBOX and besides the millions that played the single player campaign the online servers were full for a decade or so after. maybe you guys just were not born yet or too young to have a clue.

and back on topic:
ADS has been a relatively well known abbreviation for online and SP for as long as I can remember in shooter games and/or their communities and i've been playing them for 20+ years. if some didn't notice or didn't understand what it meant all this time doesn't change that fact.
it is not meant as a term to be used as an action(like the idiot posted, "ready aim-down-sites fire"). but as an abbreviated description like it is being used in this game.

in Cyberpunk 2077 the "-0.00 ADS" means it takes that much less time to aim down the sights than it would normally. that is why very high -ADS scopes are always higher ranked colors. makes perfect sense.
i guess they could add a tutorial for weapon\item detail descriptions for those few who can't figure it out and are too lazy to search online.

I've been PC gaming since the late 70s and have played practically every FPS in existence. I've also fired many a real world rifle in my day. I've never heard of ADS. Why not just be generous and helpful? World needs more of that and less people that act like you're acting.

To be fair your first answer was fine why bother going on a superior tirade?
