So is there anyone who is using Windows 7 64-bit, and *not* having any problems running this game??
I'm reading a variety of messages from Win7 users who _are_ having problems...

I don't have the option for Fullscreen in the Settings menu, and it looks like its a Win7 specific problem. Super frustrating to have a new game look like a slide show.

I couldn't get the game to run at all on w7. After a day of trying everything, I gave up and updated to w10. Game ran fine then. Oh w7 I will miss you . W10 sucks.

Win 7 user here, with Nvidia card and a CPU that supports AVX.

The game's been running nice and buttery smooth at 1080 - here's how I got rid of the crashes...

Latest Nvidia drivers, .Net updated

Run the offline installer shortcut with Win 7 compatibility and Admin Mode (right click shortcut to access) (MOST IMPORTANT! Crashes at predetermined points before that!).

I've had 2 random crashed after this, but I've been able to play the game for long stretches and get by the nasty crashes I had before doing this.
My toaster PC (5 years old) got Windows 7 64 updated, CPU AMDA10-7850K, 16GB memory ,GTX 960 4GB (drivers up to date) and a HDD with a lot of free space
Running with low settings and the last game patch - and very playable at 1080

my system :
Operating system - Win 7 x64 home premium
CPU - Ryzen 5 2600
Ram - 16GB Corsair vengeangce 2666 MHz
Motherboard - Gigabyte B450 AORUS ELITE
GPU - Asus Tuf GeForce GTX 1660 Ti

I'm using the latest Nvidia 460.79 drivers after wiping the old ones using DDU.

I'm running the game with the default settings (mostly high but with some options set to medium) in 1080p with motion blur turned off and it's running nice and smooth, the game looks great. I'm still experiencing occaisional crashes (once every couple of hours or so ) but that's about the only issue I'm having.

Overall not a bad experience, will be great once the crashes are fixed.

I'm on Windows 7 with no problems except low fps on my older system playing with mostly all effects to low 1080P, the only main problem I have so far is no Full screen mode and this is causing visual quality and blurriness...no AA option
Games runs well on my i7-2700K (processor from 2011 ;-), 24GB RAM, SSD and RTX 2060S with latest 460.x Nvidia driver. OS is Win7 Ultimate x64.

Really no need for Win10.
Win7 Ult
I7 3770K
12GB RAM
RTX2070 Super(460.79 driver)
SATA 1TB SSD(game installed folder)
PCIe 240GB SSD(system drive)

I only have "option won't appear FullScreen" issue atm.
My frame rate was keep getting around 20~30fps even if changed graphic settings Low~RThigh then applied mod forced TAA off got 40~60fps on Low settings seemed barely playable.
Thought hard to say pleasant yet, actually need FULLSCREEEEEEEENNNNNN(should be get smoother frame rate)
Windows 7
Intel Core i7-4790 CPU @ 4.00GHz
8.00 GB of RAM

There are 3 points when my driver, version 460.79 as recommended, crashes and of course so does my game: On Launch, in the main menu, and after Character Creation.

It is frustrating and disheartening and I don't know what the issue is they all fall within the minimum requirements.
Win 7 Pro
Ryzen 7 2700X
48 GB RAM
Nvidia RTX2070 (460.79 driver)
Old 500GB HDD (Yes, mechinical. NOT an SSD. Both OS drive and Game install drive.)
Running as a standard user.
Installed via 1.03 offline installer, updated to 1.04 using offline patch.

Got CTD initially. Always occured after character creation. Set the mirror quality to low and finally got a few more frames before the crash. (Definitely something going on with rendering water and reflections in this game. The Corpo route would always crash the second the camera panned down to the faucet.) Had to use DDU in safe mode and reinstall the graphics driver. After that only one random crash. Never had to run as admin or use compatiblity settings though.

I'd say the game is just bugging out on GPU calls because the drivers aren't being upgraded properly. That being said, this is the first time I've ever had to use DDU. So, maybe there's some nasty assumptions going on in the game's rendering code.

Beyond that, it's smooth sailing. (Minus the random crashes, NPCs standing on top of each other, and random props floating in space after NPCs finish using them of course. Ya know, the usual bugs of a new release. :P)
OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit
GPU: GTX 1080
CPU: i5
RAM: 16 Gb

Updated to latest Nvidia driver.

1.03 crashed after character creation but 1.04 has run just fine (reasonable framerate on ultra (minus the raytracing that gtx 1080 won't do) and good framerate on high (which is what I'm playing on plus a couple of options set higher)).

I did get one random crash when I hit the menu button just as an explosion kicked off and everything froze. But other than that, I'm a few hours in and it's running fine.

Edit: Make that 2 random crashes. Still not too bad, all things considered.

Unfortunately not, it crashes my graphics card every 5-20 minutes forcing me to reboot.
Latest NVidia drivers, verified game files, tried all the suggested fixes in support.

Playing on Win7 is the only true Cypberpunk experience.

Step 1: Connect to Internet
Step 2: Get pwned

Try to press <Alt><Enter> simultanously when you are in the game, that should switch it to full screen.
