I love all the updated mechanics in 2.0, combat feels really great now. And I would love to see a persistent high risk - high reward game mode utilizing them.

It's a mode separate from main campaign where you take randomly generated quests where you should go to specific place and kill target / steal item / clear compound and so on. Since it's a roguelike mode you lose your character when you die. With all the gear, implants, upgrade, cars and appartments and should start over with a new one.

That's the general gist of it.

Some other games already did similar things and it was pretty fun.
Main references: Hitman freelancer mode, roguelike mode in Severed Steel. Also City of Corlina mod for original Dying Light did something similar.

Would love to see something like this for Cyberpunk 2077.

The issue with higher challenges is that most challenges have little to no reward for succeeding, i just did one of those psycho-bionic people and they nearly killed me....twice....and all i got was 250 Eddies......okay....yay, rewarding.
