Some of the in game advertisements are a bit juvenile and detract from the the vibe of the game. Some of them are problematic because they seem to present the option of self termination during a time when mental health cases are up globally by quite a lot. To put an advertisement in game with a guy sucking on a firearm isn't edgy or clever. It's lazy.

By way of example watch the original Robocop and the satirical commercials that run through that movie. Now that is how you make a biting critique of society without being clumsy about it.

Games are for escapism and relaxation. Please keep in mind that like the overall population a not zero percent of your player base are probably wrestling with issues of mental health.

Also- there should be a non-lethal path for V to complete the game with. As it happens the scene after you join Jackie includes a scene of shooting someone at point blank range that you can't opt out of. The on the rails car chases where you fire at enemy vehicles seem to require you to blow the enemy vehicles up. If a player wants to be non-lethal you should strive to give them that option.

There's a reason why this game is rated 18+.
It's on the store page.
Don't like it, don't buy it, it's as simple as that.

The game cover literally says "High impact themes" and "Violence" - what's surprising about it actually being violent?

If the game is not to your liking, then there are plenty othes out there. Not everything is for everyone, for various reasons.

Respectfully, you're literally playing as a mercenary. Don't buy a game where you play as a mercenary and get mad that you're shooting people.

Nobody's gonna say it? Really?

...

*ahem*

...

Did you just use Robocop as an example in an anti-violence post? And are you acquainted with irony?

Nope, because I saw it as a waste of my time.

That comparison seemed so far out, I decided arguing with reason against it likely wouldn't accomplish anything.

Nothing is stopping you from playing a mercanary, that uses non lethal force. There is a wide selection of methods to acomplish that: takedowns, blunt weapons, pax module for weapons, eye implants for smart weapons, non lethal hacks. There is even a side mission where you explicitly inform everyone that you don't kill people.
So I really don't understand your point.
You for real buddy? Try Syberia. That's non-violent. This is a game where you shoot things.

There's a Blade Runner ads mod, just download that.

A main character suicides in the game too. Who cares. It's a cyberpunk video game. Fwiw, I have "issues of mental health"
and prefer not to be treated like a 5yo personally. I just didn't think the ads were all that funny, not offensive. That $%^& call bug that's keeping me from beating the game, that I find offensive.
