How do you save Takemura? I've seen in some playthroughs people say he dies, in others he doesn't. Just wondering what decision(s) you need to make in game to keep him alive.

Remember the scene where you fall down a hole in the floor in an abandoned building as you get attacked by an Arasaka assault squad?
Happens during the main mission "Search And Destroy".

If you go back up and kill off the soldiers who has Takemura pinned down, you will save him.
If you run off and escape, you will let him die.

That is all.

...And over a week later, an answer apparently didn't matter.
