Hey, so I'm seeing a ton of people dumping on CDPR because it isn't long enough or some rabdom other subjective garbage and I just wanted to give some kudos here.

Night City feels pretty great overall. I'm very much into the idea of contrasting the bright, neon central hub with some of the more dingy and sketch smaller neighborhoods. Pacifica is absolutely wonderful to walk through, you constantly feel unwelcome among the denizens therein. I've very much enjoyed my time with the 66+ hours I've put in thus far. No, I haven't completed the story. No, I haven't done everything there is to possibly do. I skipped out on all the spoilers possible except for the original teaser drops and I've been mostly pleased with my experiences. I keep finding new things and that makes everything even more enjoyable.

There's definitely some copy+paste side stuff filling the world (the assaults in progress being the biggest offenders), but I'm overall very pleased with what feels like a very faithful take on the 2020 RPG based on Neuromancer with consent from the author, but apparently even William Gibson didn't feel 2077 was "cyberpunk" enough which seems a bit overly-critical especially given the constraints of an actual functional game system versus pure imagination... And that he was looking at trailers and not playing the game... Critics, right?

That being said, real gripes are two-fold: I've got serious issues with performance issues on the base PS4, which I'm aware is being worked on and as of 1.06 I can happily report that my game is at least not crashing as frequently. There are some serious framerate issues in densely populated areas, aggressive lag times when pulling up the Radio Station selector, unresponsive camera change while driving and a similarly lag-riddled photo mode.

Minor inconvenience involving crafting: who thought holding a button to craft a single item without being able to chain to the next item was the way to go?

Oh and random additional inconvenience of note for me, and this may be a one-off experience in my playthrough, but I found a Legendary Monowire REALLY early on. Kept it for ages. It doesn't keep pace with V's level. When I go to see a ripper about buying an upgraded version, they only show me the legendary I have. I was able to buy an Epic version, but since you can't upgrade or trash cyberware, I'm just stuck with some underleveled scrap.

Anyway... Thanks for making the game. I truly look forward to seeing how you folks fix the game, and I look forward to more 2077 content in the future.

An aside: if you feel the urge to reply ripping on play time or how the world is too small or any other gripes like that... There are plenty of other threads for you! This isn't the one. Thanks!
