Hello!
TL;DR: Just use the melee weapon exploit (leave a weapon in the ring and use it to beat him). Fighting him fair and square is not worth the grief.
Jesus fucking Christ. This guy was more difficult than the last boss. There are two key points where you want to attack him. The first is when he just has his block up. Give him a power punch and throw in a few jabs. The second is to wait for him to attack, use dodge to circle around him, and then strong punch...yada yada yada. I know it sounds easy, but it really isn't. The rules for this fight is different from the rules in the rest of the game. If you are like me and are too stubborn to just not wallop him with a bat, here are some pointers:
- Wait until his punch/combo animation cycles stop entirely.
- Gorilla arms doesn't generate a charge. You still need these for the damage boost.
- He is immune to bleed/burn ticks. I'm not sure if poison counts, but my guess for this damage type is no.
- Block/parry doesn't work. Vik describes Razor as a tank. You are not the guy from Tiananmen Square. You cannot block and parry tanks. He will punch right through it.
- HP and armour doesn't count for much. I had 800 HP and it only took him 3 hits to bring me down. I remember seeing another user who said he tested armour. He said that after the armour boost he still took the same amount of damage.
- Priority for your body perks (in this exact order) are: damage, then stamina regen, then HP regen. Armour and perks that boost your total HP are useless.
- Level up street brawler as much as you can. You can still level it after you reached the character level cap.
- Cactus juice helps.
- I think his combo has five moves. It's a little hard to tell since I'm trying to not get crushed like a soda can. If you get in the way of it, you are done like dinner.
- Keep circling him until you see you are able to attack him again. I kept making the mistake of dodging once, and wiping the sweat off my forehead while saying "phew, that was close one".
- He's not immune to ring out. I beat his is ass out of the ring several times, and the match kept going.
- When you dodge his attacks, dodge to the side, not backwards. The hurtbox for his fists are actually bigger than what the character model shows. Sometimes it would look like he would whiff, but then I see my HP and realize he actually got a shot in.
- The money you get for beating him is $3K I think. Which doesn't even cover half of what I spent in upgrades and shit.
That's all I can think of for now. If you have anything to add or see any errors, feel free to let me know.
Edit: typo
