Hi,
I do not know if this has been posted here before, so here goes.
These settings supposedly control how much memory the game uses and supposedly the settings were set for consoles, PC players can update these settings to have the game use more RAM and GPU RAM.
Under the game directory, Cyberpunk 2077\engine\config is a file called memory_pool_budgets.csv.
BEFORE CHANGING : Make a backup of the file.
In this file you should have these 2 lines.
PoolCPU ; 1536MB ; 1536MB ; 1536MB
PoolGPU ; 3GB ; 3GB ; 3GB
PoolCPU says how much RAM you are using, 1.5GB is very small, change this to a number that is your RAM - 4GB, approx. So if you have 16GB then use 12GB
PoolGPU says how much Graphics card ram you are using, set this one to your graphics card number, lets say you have 6GB then set it to that.
Result from my examples should be the following.
PoolCPU ; 12GB ; 12GB ; 12GB
PoolGPU ; 6GB ; 6GB ; 6GB
For me my loading time improved considerably, graphics was pretty good before change but it did improve a bit. If you start having problems like crashing to desktop, try adjusting those numbers.
Hope this helps some people.
