I am looking to buy Cyberpunk 2077, but I want to have something physical. Would be great if it will be like PS4 version, but DRM-Free (with physical Blu-ray, or DVDs/CDs/LTO tapes/floppies of Your choice).

Personally I think that more people will be interested, and price of burning for e.g. Blu-ray won't be big in so popular game.

Especially it can increase sales, because some people want to pay more and pack it for example, for gift (like physical CDs with music still sells, because people want something that they want give to somebody).

Why do not you buy the game on GoG(or the retailed version including a GoG code) and download the Offline Backup Game Installer after release. Then you can store the installer on a USB stick (you will probably need at least one 128 GB or multiple smaller stick) and have an unchangeable physical version on a clearly more future-proof medium than Blu Ray.

CDPR justified the lack of a physical version with the fact that Blu Ray players are installed in only a few PCs and the game is far too big for DVDs. I do not think they will decide otherwise. If you really want a physical version, my suggestion will be what comes closest to it.

Before you ask why they do not deliver the game with a USB stick, I answer that quickly. The game will probably be over 100 GB in size, possibly even over 128 GB. USB sticks in that size either have a high error rate or are not exactly cheap. If they did, the price of 60 € / $ would not be possible (let alone lower prices in other countries).

In addition, providing a physical version always means that the game has to be done well before release. With digital sales, you can fix bugs and make changes until the last day.
