The driving in this game has always been bad. But the part where you have to drive through the city escorting a certain someone is so frustrating it is unbelievable. I get out of the car and go on foot because it's better. Only princes wants to slowly walk through the area turning one of the worst driving missions I have ever played in any game into one of the worst escort missions I have ever played in any game.

I cannot fathom why CDPR thought this was a good idea. I'm sure someone with a brain said, "Hey guys maybe we should rethink this," and got completely ignored by the suits in charge. /insert shame gif here

So far the entire expansion is more corny than a bad action movie and damn miserable to play. Games should be fun. This isn't fun. Maybe they were going for 80's cheese with the story and that's forgivable. But this just isn't fun. I am so disappointed in CDPR. Please never ever make anything like this again.

For the record, I'm not dropping my 5 star score for Cyberpunk. The game is still great. PL was just not a good idea.

A tip for anyone else trying to play PL the way that Songbird guides you to (sneaking and being smart). Don't. Just run through and kill everyone. It's the only way that isn't miserable to play.

As far as Songbird goes...fuck her. Both figuratively and literally if possible - she forces herself onto us as if it was her given right to do so just because she could, making all sorts of honeypot promises we never even asked for, then completely ghosts us.

First thing I did after the introduction was starting to attack Barghest soldiers at the main gate

...then did every mission with her on the phone american style (i.e. guns blazing). Not only did I still get the mission rewards and more loot, but I get her yelling at me over the holo. So, bonus.

When the chance comes to help her or Reed or whatever the options are, I will drop her like a hot coal.
