I read a tweet from CDPR saying it would be available for pre-order at retailers June 20. It has not been available any day I have checked at any retailer since then. Did they sell out at Amazon, Gamestop, and Best Buy at the same time? Best Buy still says coming soon.

At the moment more or less all CE are sold out(except resellers on ebay). It is unknown if CDPR will increase the number of available CE's till release. In the most countries the CE was sold out with in hours or even minutes.

I do not understand the logistics of manufacturing and shipping collector packages from Poland, but it is frustrating not being able to buy something that is offered to everyone when I have the funds for it. I have only bought 5 CEs through 12 years and I would have traded 4 of those to get Cyberpunk 2077 CE. The one I would not trade is...The Witcher 3 *PC* CE.

Scalpers are disgusting.

In Europe it wasn't necessarily the scalpers. The process of the whole CE preorder was just a bit uncoordinated.

After the E3 presentation and release date announcement, Amazon DE started selling the CE at around 01:30 in the morning. It was gone at around 09:00. This was around 1 to 1,5 days before the official site stated it was available.

The other stores in Germany (and Europe i think) started selling them in the time frame of 1 to 3 days after the announcement and they were pretty much all gone (2 or 3 hours? i think) before the official site updated. Only the PS4 CE was available for a very long time.


In the US, yes. They apparently started on the 20th (not sure about the time) and were pretty much gone immediately, as i read.

And i read somewhere on one of their Twitter accounts that there won't be a second round of CEs.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Best Buy stocked or re-stocked the CE for Windows. I was able to get it!
