This is one of the most bizarre and infuriating issues I've had with any game, and it HAD to be with CP2077 after I started actually enjoying it.

Basically, at seemingly-random intervals, my mouse will freeze up, causing me to have to re-plug it. It'll then be fine for a bit before inevitably freezing again. There are occasions where it'll freeze for about a second, then come back. The mouse itself is perfectly fine and runs issue-free on literally everything else on my PC.

The same issue has occurred with my KB, but much less often. Both KB+M are Corsair-brand being driven by iCue software. I've tried disabling iCue to no avail. I've also read that the Nvidia overlay could cause such an issue, so I disabled that as well... nada. Tried different USB ports (all 3.0), made sure all other control peripherals were unplugged... you get the picture.

I'm at a loss. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, some pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Contrary to popular belief, you don't get lower latency by plugging a mouse / keyboard into a USB 3-port.

I have had a similar issue with my keyboard that got resolved when I used a USB 2-port, have you tried that?

I had a Corsair mouse a few years ago and experienced that same problem. The mouse stopped working during game play and to get it working again, I had to unplug it and plug it back in. The problem was solved by switching to another brand of mouse.
I thought it was due to problems with the USB port, but the mouse problem occurred in any port. It is quite possible that Corsair mice are not fully compatible with certain types of motherboards. Mine was MSI.
