As the title suggests the mouse cursor does not constrain to the game. I am using a multi-monitor setup and this means I keep clicking outside of the game constantly, which is obviously annoying.

I have tried it in windowed, borderless window and fullscreen mode and they all have this issue while in menus and in game.

Is there any way to fix this issue, as it is making the game practically unplayable at the moment? I have not found a corresponding setting, but I have played the game before (quite a few months ago) and I dont remember having the issue then.

Any ideas are welcome, I have heard of software that can help (cursor lock and similar) but I would rather not use 3rd party tools if avoidable.
Hi Panicmode,

I'm in the same issue as you and this has happened with the latest updates of CP2077. To be clear though, I haven't played the game since Feb 2021 but I've always kept updating the game so not sure which update caused this issue.

Thanks to your post, I used your keywords to search a bit and I found this very short YouTube video which has a good workaround - without the need of downloading anything: www. youtube. com/ watch?v=VulzoJgoMI0&ab_channel=GamerZakh - sorry for the formatting but due to the low rep I can't post links.

I've tried it out myself and it works. What I suggest though is to make sure that the Settings window that it shows in the video is on your main monitor and not on your secondary monitor, otherwise you might have difficulty reverting back your settings (I had to stay using a bunch of tabbing).

Hope this helps!

It personally does not affect me, it stays nice and locked and not messing with anything in a dual 1440 setup. But i have plenty of games that don't lock cursor and use "Cursor Lock" from Snakebyte Studios http://www.snakebytestudios.com/ been using them a long long time. I have it sent to Alt+Num0 to release the lock and made a shortcut to lock prior to game launch.

Works with everything, fantastic little program!
