Anyone else notice this? After an hour or so my FPS goes from 60FPS+ down to 40s. If I keep playing it'll eventually drop to the 30s. Restarting the game restores it immediately so it must be a leak.
I'm pretty sure one of the crashes I experienced at launch with 1.03 was a memory leak... because I could play for about an hour before it crashed my entire graphics driver.
I'm also suspecting a memory leak. Its not as bad as in ARMA II (e.g. hour or so) but I think there is one.

I begin playing in around 70-100 fps but in 4-5 hours, I see that it doesn't cross 70 fps anymore and barely hangs on at around 55-65. Also frame drop are now more prevalent.

Setup: 3700X, RTX3060 Ti, 2x8GB 3200 mhz and playing off an SSD.

That's weird because just launching it will crash my graphics driver. It also does that in the main menu or after character creation. It varies.

yeah mine does that now with 1.04 a lot.

Can't even do a quickhack without it crashing now.
Then after it crashes, I can't start it back up without it crashing during the intro movies.

At least in 1.03, I could usually play for an hour before crashing. :-(

it is not an actual memory leak, altho it feels like one...
a memory leak would indicate that you have a bad/faulty RAM stick...

this is more accurately the same thing that happened with bethesda games where it would not unload memory sections, not only physical memory but also virtual memory (which is HD space)...
it is not purging and buffering properly...

i have noticed that older coding/syntax technology has this problem, such as unity/gamebryo/java/flash...
so i am not sure if this also contributes to the settings crashing on load problems.
I've played for six hours in one go. I had to exit a few times because of glitching.

But no crashes.

Is there a log file somewhere that could tell me if there's been any issues?

Can confirm. Thought it was just my rig not keeping up with the game, because it is absolutely choking my old CPU. The longer I play, the more the framerate drops. Have to restart the game after a while to bring it back up to speed.

I also have to restart every 4-5 hours. Its either that my FPS has fell down or that some other bug is now showing its teeth. Yesterday, one restart was because my FOV was stuck in like 60 while I play at 95. Adjusting the slider didnt do anything anymore. Restart fixed it. Also before I quit for the day, my HP bar was showing 0 all the time although I was alive and well. And I could die.
Seems the game is currently artificially limiting the RAM and VRAM (GPU) it can use by shipping a config with the same values as consoles, see here:

reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/kccabx/hey_cd_projekt_red_i_think_you_shipped_the_wrong/

Will need to try increasing this limit and see if it helps. Could imagine that after a while of playing, the memory is filling up to the artificial limits and starts swapping things in and out more frequently.
So they gimped the performance on PC. How could they overlook that? Only allocating 3GB of VRAM. No wonder the GPU can't render at full capability.

I have seen my GPU use 7GB+ of my 8GB VRAM. So this will allow it to properly use the GPU resources? It won't crash from using up all the VRAM?

Sounds more like a heating issue, to be honest. Or a general system stability issue. Memory leaks tend to be consistent and there's not that many PC players who get crashing graphics drivers after an hour.

Personally, I see no framerate drops over a 5-6 hour session, and my GTX 970 with a fairly modest 4 gb ov vram isn't having issues either.

You obviously havn't been reading the forums since release.

There are MASSIVE amounts of people experiencing the same problems.
This is true no matter the system or hardware.

Speaking of hardware, no it has nothing to do with my hardware; it's the game.

The game sold millions. Are you seeing millions of people with your exact problems? Millions of people that crash on quickhack? Millions of people that can only play for an hour before running into memory bloat issues? I am not.

If the software did a memory leak, it seems likely that it would do so consistently and so everybody would see the issue. Which they clearly do not.

Edit: This isn't to suggest that the game does not have problems, but merely that your specific problem does not sound to me as an indication that the game has a significant memory leak problem.

Have you checked event viewer or are you just speculating that this is a memory leak, I played this for quiet some time yesterday and the day before and the day before, Your crash might be something else.
