Every time you pick up some text files in the game world it for some reason plays this extremely loud and annoying humming sound in the background when you open the file, it resembles the hum of a neon sign or a fluorescent light.

Is there any way to disable this? The changing frequency of the hum is like chinese water torture, especially when trying to concentrate on reading something that is not written in my native language.
