"Glad to hear we sparked your interest! :D As for the future, Phantom Liberty is the only planned expansion for Cyberpunk 2077."
This is the exact response the "Cyberpunk 2077" official YouTube profile gave to a comment to an user who was hoping for more expansions in the future in that video teasing upcoming "Phantom Liberty", this really SUCKS.
CD Projekt RED (CDPR) promised a while ago that Cyberpunk 2077 would definitely receive TWO single-player Expansions and a ONLINE mode, though they were never detailed. While I don't really care about Online Mode, the TWO single-player Expansions REALLY should have been kept and CDPR screwed up big on that as well. Yes, Cyberpunk 2077 had way too many problems and CDPR itself had a significant deserved exodus of big talents and reestructuring itself amidst a Pandemic, but this clearly shows CDPR is too eager to get away from Cyberpunk 2077 and move on to the next "The Witcher" game ASAP.
On top of that, old-gen versions will simply NOT receive the Expansion, which is unacceptable. No matter the current gen of consoles is almost 2 years old, "Phantom Liberty" COULD be part of PS4/Xbox1 versions as well, even if missing some technical features, but CDPR was "lazy" skipping work to them, and I despise CDPR for dismissing the players of old-gen consoles!
The only possible consolation I have is this single upcoming Expansion might have some content from the now scrapped 2nd Expansion of Cyberpunk 2077 merged into "Phantom Liberty" so it can actually become a BIG expansion to Cyberpunk 2077.
Another shame on You, CD Projekt RED!
