I have at least 3 gifted vehicles (delmain, Nomad bike, Claire's beast),
but maybe i prefer to drive something else than last one acquired. I am likely missing something somewhere but it dose not appear to be in inventory nor character so ... how do i actually select which one is fetched to me?

My experience when I inherited Jackie's bike I had the key in my inventory and I had to call for it as described during tutorial. Later I got the car that Jackie and I started off with during the search and rescue mission after completing the Delmain side mission. To call for my other vehicle in inventory I received now, I had to press and hold right on the D-pad and then I can select it from inventory. Now for the Delmain, After completion of the other Delmain side mission, you need to go and recover your prize located in the Delmain garage. Enter your Del ride and drive it out of the garage when the Door opens and you should receive a notification that you now have your new Del ride :)! Press and hold right on the D-pad ( I'm playing on Xbox One X first gen) and you should see it in your list of rides to call :)! I'm not sure how Claire's ride works because I have not reached that point in the game and been working more on my crimes in progress quest. But it may be like the Delmain where you had to recover and drive off with your new car. Hope I helped out ;)!
i do not get a list,
when i press V a car just spawns and comes to somewhere in my proximity.
used to be default car, than delmain and now the beast, not once i had seen any selection.

Obviously i play on PC so i have no bloody clue what d-pad even is let alone what command it is binded to but there is something that just calls cars, as mentioned above it is "V" by default.

I mentioned those as they are (to my mind) meaning i have multiple vehicles in some garage i never gotten to see. Hence i ought to have the selection if it indeed is as you say some mysterious button.
You should get a list of cars when you hold down V for a few seconds.
At least that's what I get. I'm also on PC.

A few keys have different press and hold functions. Press V to call last vehicle. Hold V to get a list of all vehicles owned. Also press F to jack-in with a computer and hold F to interact with the computer. Oh, and also F to talk to NPCs. Also C to crouch or skip dialogue.

Yeah, not really happy that most keys have multiple functions. That's DEFINITELY a console kludge and needs to be remappable.

A D-pad, if you remember old school Nintendo with just A and B button, you had the Direction pad (D-pad) that moved Mario left and right. A few games like Double dragon when pressing up and down moved your avatar across the screen too. Hope this helped describe what a D-pad (Directional pad) is :)!

I am a Pc player since 286 (even proper PC not the more usual close since it was full on IBM)
only console i ever used was atari 600xl but it had joystick not controller.

Regardless yes the hold on to the button dose bring up menu, i am sorry i did not expect that. as said at some point above it is strangely reminiscent of console based controls, i mean i am using a keyboard which has some 100+ keys on it i am certain we can find few that are not bound to anything CDPR or have things in menu or something.

The whole control scheme is strange tho, i am unable to remind use button for some reason, it just dose not seem to be listed for example.

Still i appreciate you all trying to help old fool like myself so do have yourself a glorious day in night city XD

Yep that dose it, thank you for help, i just never assumed it would have to be held for some reason.
May we all enjoy the city of occasional night.
