Suppose you go the prettiest restaurant you've ever seen. And their interior design is amazing. Breathtaking, even. But their chairs are uncomfortable, their waiters are rude, and their kitchen is having trouble with anything beyond buttered toast. Is that really a spectacular restaurant that you can't wait to come back to?

Don't get me wrong, I like buttered toast as much as the next guy, but if I'm forced to eat half-raw potatoes, leathery steak, unintentionally sushied cod, crunchy pasta, and burned chicken breast to go along with that toast then my patience will eventually start to wear.

This game has good parts and it has badly undercooked parts. That's on top of the whole game being a buggy mess, which I suspect is a consequence of the executives having changed their minds on what kind of game they wanted to make and how quickly they wanted to do it.
That's because the only thing that mattered, was how much money they could make.

The only people worthy of any understanding, whatsoever are the peon devs who killed themselves to have their work shoved out the door unfinished and broken like this.

Prefetian: I mean, this is going to take a lot of work and a lot of time if it's going to be anywhere near of what the trailers made it out to be.
Hopefully in two or three years, which will then be ace but until then it's still kinda broken in more ways than one.

Cyberpunk is alright IMO, not great, not good but alright (bugs or not). When playing Cyberpunk, it felt like there were a bunch of features missing as well picking a background was basically pointless and as I did some digging my choices were also pointless.
I'm hoping for two to three years of actually making the game be more like the trailer, but I'm not holding my breath (hoping for the best preparing for the worst).

On the topic title of this thread are you laughing at those you call Haters OP!, The game has regressed the Censorship after the fact is pointless the Armor nerfing pointless, They've avoided offset issues from the start and prop Z failures.

The Ai needs to be scrapped it's garbage as is, There are more holes in the map than before, The Menus are still Broken Gui updates on item counts are still broken when you recycle or drop more than a few.


They go and tweak some Quest script operations which should've been done by 1.06 which had certain level of censorship people noticed, They spend the rest of the time on 1.1 culling Art and fucking the map up here you go everyone have a piece of shit pie with steam.

At this point I should laugh at myself, I had confident in them despite the rough launch. Looking at patch 1.1, I know they are too far gone.

They are working on censorship and nerfing the loot. You can see where they put their priorities at. This is hopeless

I bought GTA-V in a sale the other day and my word does that game make Cyberpunk look good. People rave over GTA V but it junk in comparison to Cyberpunk. People complain about the driving in CP yet the driving in GTA V is near unplayable, zero control on M&K.

The driving in Cyberpunk can be improved quite a bit with some easy changes in the settings. It is listed as a 'mod' here, but really you just have to change your control settings to what is depicted in the two screenshots: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/856

Improved the driving quite a bit for me.

On the topic:
I very much enjoy the game. However, I very recently spontaneously bought a much better laptop with an RTX 2060, and for me, the game runs great with most settings on high or ultra, with only minor bugs (except for getting softlocked in 1.1 which made me revert to 1.06). Because I didn't expect this upgrade, I wasn't in on the hype at all.

After seeing the initially mixed reactions I went into this expecting an 8/10 adventure with 11/10 graphics and very much feel I got what I wanted. However, if I expected the RPG of the decade, I would have certainly been disappointed and my experience is very much shaped by apparently being lucky in not having any problems.

The biggest issue for me is certainly the absolute sorry state of the AI.

CP is unwieldly due to the nature of the Minimap and high speed making predicting turns and slowing down a problem, GTA V drives great if you know how certain vehicles behave when you get an ADDER in that it's quiet good better handling than the Caliburn in CP

There is no way CDPR is ever going to fix all the bugs in this game and even if they do, there are still tons of gameplay issues that would need to be greatly improved for any rational person to think this is a decent game.

Fanatics aren't rational. Hell, if this game had been done right, I'd have become one myself, this game had been desired for many of us since our teen years rolling dice afterschool, & it would have just done so much better if done right..
