Could you show us hard facts about the mistreatment of the CDPR employees? Because no one showed something like that. Somehow everyone, like you, seems to be an magic expert in peeking through walls over the distance of an ocean.
Btw. my job also forces me to work extra from time to time and that's ok. I get compensated for that, by quality time or money, my decision which one. My country in contrast to yours, have quite strict laws against the abuse of employers and even here it is legal possible to have 6 workdays a week and extra hours. Btw I also never saw any numbers from actual CDPR developers what their workhours are and if they feel abused by it.

I suspect Jason is referencing the rather ridiculous vitriol that individual devs are getting thrown at them on SoMe because of this delay, something which was entirely beyond their control.

The idea that the criticism is only directed against the company and not against the individual workers is somewhat optimistic and probably not entirely accurate.

I agree with Jason. By all accounts, the actual devs have done a great job and are doing a great job. The individual devs are awesome. Maybe, probably, there are some internal management issues at CDPR but the devs should not be the target of any negativity over the delay.

Cyberpunk developers are getting death threats because of three weeks delay of a VIDEO GAME. Is that fun and good mannered criticism for you?

He is talking about the developers who does not deserve the backlash which they got, death threats included. They work as hard as they can to get the game shipped.

It is not and I never by the slightest did communicate this. So, you ARE an asshole. Fullstop. Might be, I mean the optimistic part. The criticism I read was about CDPR in general not individuals in particular. But I agree: attacking people (especially on a personal level) for trying to do their job isn't civil in any way. It seems I don't follow discussions where death threats are thrown around or the devs in particular got attacked. It is quite clear the problem is on the management level and most likely about contracts, at least it looks something like this to me.
The criticism btw is still valid. The civilized criticism, mind you.

It's the same as you were demanding evidence of mistreatment and called it bullshit.

Games get delayed, if people are not happy about it they should refund their pre-orders and either wait for it to come out or move on. Criticizing companies is fine, what's not is taking it out on people who work there and likely had nothing to do with the decision to delay the game. Even if they did directly decide to delay it, being abusive and threatening their lives or other physical harm is never acceptable.

You can criticize CDPR for poor work and maybe time management, maybe for some other things that CDPR might've done poorly.
Hell, you might even cancel your preorder if you can't accept this delay in any way possible, you can do that anytime before the release and no one would mind about that.

If someone is pissed of about the delay over delay, about how CDPR doesn't get their shit together, then it's their f'ing right to do so. You can simply ignore that while people are venting their anger. They do, me included, and we get over it.

There are cases where such behavior is valid, like the deaththreats issue (which I honestly didn't knew about before reading here about it) but in all regards you don't have even remotely the entitlement to tell others what to write and think.
