I have the "Enable mods" option ticked, but if I launch the game from the desktop shortcut, the mods don't load. I've only had success when going to Settings > Additional executables > Cyberpunk 2077 with mods, or by opening Vortex and clicking the option to "Launch Game with REDmods Enabled." I really don't want to have load a piece of software to then load the game, so is there a way to load with mods when using a shortcut? Either a specific exe or an argument on the shortcut?

Thanks!

EDIT: Nvm, looks like I just had to install the mods manually, and then manually run REDmod deployment, and the game loaded up with mods enabled.

Don't know which mods you're referring to, but please forget Redmod, Vortex and GoG Galaxy.

Manually install your mods and any dependencies, then start your game from the main .exe in the install directory.

EDIT:
This is the way.
