So I copied my saved files on my laptop on a thumbdrive, and I tried to transfer it on my PC, and it's not working. Still my only my old files from 2022 seem to appear when i select "load game" on my PC nothing from august 2023 appears
How do I fix this?

Exactly what did you copy? The entire "Cyberpunk 2077" directory, located at:
C:\Users\[USER]\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077

This should work. I have a "ManualSave-123" folder from someone else, copied from his machine and it worked fine on my machine.

And you are playing the game locally on both machines, and NOT through GoG Galaxy?
If the game isn't seeing the manually transferred files, then that's because it is still trying to read the cloud data - which in your case apparently isn't working.

I already told you how you run the game locally, but in case you don't check your other thread:

I tried transferring through thumb drive. now it shows "Save file Corrupted"

I'm not sure what to do next. I added a screenshot.

I'm not sure when exactly the cloud sync feature was introduced to the game, but if your game saves are too old, and you're trying to play them on a newer game version, then the game save data itself may not be compatible, which will lead to the "currupted error" you're getting.

You never replied to the question, but I assume the game installs on both of your devices are on the EXACT same game version? AND the save game data are listed in the load menu as at least game version 1.6?

If all local transfers fail, you'll just have to wait for the ingame cloud sync feature to function again.
