Hi, I installed Cyberpunk first on Galaxy 2.0. Did not seem to update. So I went ahead and installed the offline back up installer. (103 gb) My question is that when I installed the offline backup game using the exe is this updated with the latest updates or do I need to individually update each individual hotfix file starting at 1.03 to 1.06?

I know this is like the kind of the noob questions... sorry as well...

If you're using the offline installers, there is no automation, so you would need to manually download and run each patch.
The offline installer is currently on the latest version (1.06) and has been there since last year, Talon. It's detailed as such on the game's library page.
After updating to 1.05 through the client, my game crashed every few minutes so I unistalled it and reinstalled it using the backup files I had downloaded through the client.

I had game version 1.03
patch 1.03 to 1.04
patch 1.04 to 1.05
patch 1.05 to 1.06

I started with the 1.03 main install then followed up with the 1.04 patch and left it there.

Then yesterday I decided to try out version 1.06. So far it's running as well as 1.04 did.

I copied the entire game over to another drive for a 1.04 backup then I installed the 1.05 patch. I started the game up (it showed v1.05) and hit continue. It loaded right up where I left off, then I closed it.

When I tried to run the 1.06 patch it said the patch was incompatible with my game version ;(

I opened the gog launcher, went to my games, right clicked on CB77, selected manage installation > Import folder.
Once the launcher saw the game as installed I clicked the update button and it updated to 1.06 fine.

As someone else said, the 1.03 version is no longer available in backups download. I deleted my entire backup folder and downloaded the full 1.06 version of the game.

For me with a fast connection and unlimited data, it was no big deal. To others not so fortunate, it must really sukballs :(

it depends on which offline install package you downloaded \ from where.

if you got it directly from GOG in the last week or so, than it is v1.06; and obviously no need to update.
if you downloaded it right after release or from some 3rd party hosting site; than you will have to verify which version you have downloaded and update accordingly.
Oooh, I'm going to hold on to my 1.03 version installation files now - these have the least amount of censorship in the game :)) Vintage edition of CP 2077.
