Vincent Teoh from HDTVTest used a reference monitor to analyze cyberpunks HDR usage.

Its broken.

Its basically SDR being converted to HDR
Which is completely wrong and inept.

Cant believe that the art designers at CDPR dont know how HDR should work.

The tests were done on consoles, but also apply to pc aswell.

It's also broken on PC, I got the same problems with washed out blacks or crushed range.

yeah i hope they fix it because the raised blacks look rubbish on oled screens.
making everything washed out and/or have a green tint in dark scenes.

Great... I haven't had enough time to play to really notice, but I'm glad I saw this. I guess I'll turn HDR off until I hear they've corrected it. I'm so sick of the shoddy HDR support in some of my favorite titles. Destiny 2's HDR has been broken for like 4 years.
