You can play the game in 3440x1440 but when you go into hacking mode in changes to 16x9 with black bars on the sides, even though it continues to show the hints in 21x9. So the hints in the tutorial at least are not 100% viewable as they are partially shown in the area that is covered by black bars (see attached screenshot).
