Hi,

Typing this here since GOG bot "Can't create a ticket" for me. I got this finally after waiting 2 years to let devs patch it up and getting a whole new pc build to make sure I wont have any issues running it.
So after finally finishing my build r8 5900x + 3080ti. I was excited to play.

I get the game, install it via GOG galaxy, and for wtv reason Cyberpunk cannot seem to constantly use anything more then 60% of my GPU I checked for Bottlenecks and found nothing.

If I turn on DLSS from lets say Quality to Ultra Performance, I get a 4 fps boost at max and thats about ti.
No matter what DLSS setting I use or what in game graphic setting I use I cannot get anything above 65fps.

I uninstalled and reinstalled like 4 times, removed all mods, used DDU to clean install nvidia drivers. Nothing helps. Finally decided to contact GOG and instead I got a bot unable to open a ticket... What an experience.

Oh best part, while going through the bot it makes you run dxdiag and save it. Dxdiag on win 11 saves as a txt file. The bot then asks yo uto upload the file but it does not recognize txt files lol. Just goes to show how much care attention GOG put into their customer service systems. Prior to this my only experience with CD Projekt was Witcher 3 and I loved it, This new experience has painted the devs in a whole new light. Its a shame.

Anyways that being said im attaching screenshot. I can provide more logs from gpu z if anyone can help would be very nice.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I had the same problem on my amd 1600.

Got the game on release and 17fps only. No matter whether 4k or 720p. 4k used more gpu power while 720p less keeping low fps.

Tried many versions until 1.3.

Then I found out.... my cpu overclock was the issue. Putting my cpu at stock fixed it. Gpu utilisation at 100 percent. My 1070 giving me whatever fps it supposed to.

Is your cpu overclocked. Did you try to bring it to stock, stock ram?

Also by any chance any software fps limits set?

Firstly, if you were maintaining a -stable- 65 fps, you'd be doing pretty well compared to most.

If you are hoping for a stable 120 fps with that hardware, that's not going to happen.
I don't even think the 4090 is holding a -stable- 120.

The key is maintaining a stable frame rate to avoid jitter from dropped frames.
Just lock your frame rate to something your hardware can handle and have fun.
It'd be a perfectly enjoyable experience at a stable 30 fps, and your experience so far sounds pretty standard without a lot of tweaking.

CP77 is a single-player experience.
No competition. No twitch-fire required.
You don't need 120-240 fps at 4k to pick off pixel-perfect head shots from across the map.

On a Ryzen 9 5950x / 128 GB RAM / 3090 FTW3 Ultra (24 GB) I'm holding a stable 59-60 fps using the settings below.
(and am quite happy with that!)

In-Game Options:
• Game option fps locked at 60 fps
• In-game v-sync disabled
• DLSS set to performance
• Disabled chromatic aberration
• Disabled contact shadows
• Cascaded shadow range set to low
• Motion blur disabled (this didn't make a difference, but motion blur makes me dizzy ;)

External/Hardware Options:
• Screen refresh locked at 59.95 Hz
• Nvidia compositing pipeline enabled (to force external v-sync)

Note: The disabled chromatic aberration and shadows settings make a huge difference in stable frame rates with almost no noticeable visual quality loss.

Edit: It's not super likely, but possible, that you may also be experiencing a CPU bottleneck if you have your crowd sizes set to max, particularly once the bullets start flying (as most weapons aren't ray-cast, but instead have actual bullet physics). Try lowering it to medium crowd size and see if that changes anything.
