I am confused why both of these patch installers have the same name but different sizes. Do I download them in order from the 1mb to the 600mb? Or do I just download the 600mb patch? Please help thanks.

Yes you download both files. the 1MB and the 600MB. that match
(1.03 -> 1.04 offline)

The 1 MB file is the spanning header file for it across many segments
(although why it's here for the 600MB patch i don't know)
