Faced such a problem, when downloading an update from GOG Galaxy (16 GB), the speed drops by 57% to 0.1 MB / s and the size of the downloaded update from 9 GB / 16 GB becomes 16 GB / 16 GB, and this message gets out by 59% : GOG Galaxy Crash Reporter after which the client closes... Restarting GOG Galaxy, or downloading the update again does not help :( Maybe this is due to the fact that the game client and the game itself are on different discs? (HDD and SSD)

No, that's not it, I have the same setup whwere the game is on a slow HDD.

But you need to have a lot of free space and (a lot of patience up to 5-6 hours to modify the game) where the game folder is for it to allow the update to run. Restart the computer, (clean cache) and repair/verify..

I have 700 GB of free disk space, but the game just cannot update, freezing at 59% and giving this message to GOG Galaxy Crash Reporter after the game client (GOG Galaxy) closes... Restart the computer, (clean cache) and repair/verify dont help:( If I have attached a picture, you can see.
