Because driving with K&M is horrible, I thought I'd try my gamepad, a Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2, instead.

Unfortunately the game simply doesn't see the controller.

I have verified that it is working fine in the Game Controllers control panel (press Windows+R then enter "joy.cpl"), and also in BloodRayne 2 and Nier Automata.

I'll be opening a formal support ticket, meanwhile any suggestions are gratefully received.

Fixed by installing XOutput from https://github.com/csutorasa/XOutput.

I guess that means that the underlying issue is that the game is only supporting XInput controllers, not DirectInout controllers.
