so with the new dlc coming out me and my daughter want to play the game and not have to fight over who plays it first and have saves mixed together.

my question is if I buy it on steam can I have blank saves but still connect my GOG account so I can get the current twitch drops. I dont mind buying it again if it saves the hassle of messing with game saves and not getting confused.
