Dear CDPR,
I don't know if any of you guys will actually see this but I have a few ideas, all of them regarding the first default V preset in the character creator. When I first watched the E3 Cinematic trailer for Cyberpunk, I watched a good-looking badass dude slicing a massive seven-foot-tall giant apart with minimally hidden blades that don't have metal rivets all the way up the arms. When I opened the character creator, I saw a melted Ken doll with a pissed off expression, massive nose, and no availability of his earring from the trailer. Please, please, please revise the default male V. The only similarities between the one in the game and the trailer is the hair, and a beard that 1. Doesn't match the hair color, and 2. is too long and needs a trim. Second Idea: Admittedly, I don't play as a female (Because I prefer Panam over Judy) but the female default V is also terrifying. The original girl was good looking so why change it? Please revise the female V as well, and add V's earring from the trailers. I'm also a player who likes to play 'canon' V, IE. (For Me) Street-kid, with Johnny's jacket, V's original clothes, mantis blades, pistols, But, much to my dismay, V's clothes suck, Why weren't we given crafting upgrade options for V's clothes? Crafting 'V's favorite shirt' up to a legendary with 3-4 mod slots would be pretty sweet, Seeing this jacket was one of the things that made me excited for the game, and the fact that it alternated colors in the color further increased that excitement.

Two: Please rewrite the story...At least the beginning? When I watched the trailer, the story I thought of was totally different. I thought of: V, a Merc born and bred in Heywood wanted to strive to be the best. He took on any and every job he could and completed his jobs with discretion and reliability. He gained a bit of a reputation as the reliable Merc that could get things done. On a job, he was ordered to whack a certain client that had pissed off the wrong people. V eventually caught up to this client who revealed himself as Jackie Welles, a Merc born and bred in Heywood just like V. V and Jackie took a liking to each other and V decided not to kill Jackie. Eventually, Jackie helped V whack the client who gave V the job, who turned out to be an Arasaka operative. Eventually, word of Jackie and V's escapades made it up the change to a certain fixer named Rogue. Rogue was a big shot and owned the Afterlife bar where V and Jackie frequently kicked back. Rogue set word to V that she wanted to meet him. She sent him out on a few jobs and he proved reliable, completing each and every job. She then asked him to run a job with her as it was a personal matter' V agreed. During the job, she told V he reminded her of someone she once knew. V would say something like 'What? That a bad thing?' and Rogue would assure him no, he has his own charm. They complete the job of retrieving specific Items that belonged to Johnny Silverhand, including his jacket, which was kept in preservation for over 50 years. Rogue gave V the jacket as thanks for all of his work and ceased contact for a while as she'd run out of jobs. In that time Jackie Welles set up a job with Dexter Deshawn, a fixer of similar standing with rogue, and T-Bug, a Netrunner already hired at the time to complete the job with a fine-toothed comb. All the cards are in place, and they execute the heist which goes south. Then the trailer ensues. Jackie catches a bullet on the way to the Safehouse and when V gets back to the Safehouse Dex orders him killed, V quickly dispatches the bodyguard and T-Bug, but Dex had gotten to his gun first, and fed V a helping of lead. V wakes up in a junkyard, rebooted by the chip he'd stored in his head, per the request of Jackie. A man stands over him who tells him to wake up and shake it off. Johnny Silverhand rebooted V and brought him back to life. Johnny had sifted through his memories, saw that Rogue trusted V, and immediately liked him.

I dunno about you or anyone else, but I feel like this is a much better story than the one we were presented with. Anyway, that's my long rant, though I doubt anyone from the team will see it, I'll write it anyway.
This really might be seen if you posted in the official forum itself. Just tossing a suggestion. Good luck, though.

gog.com USED to be the official forums. They just decided to ditch this community after Cyberpunk 2077 was released.

So essentially your complaint is that the game didn't give you something you dreamed up yourself? Well, I can see why that must be pretty tough for you.
