A lot of people seem to have some hesitation about buying this because of the bad state of the game when it was launched, but I just played through the game on Steam (like, 80 or 90 hour playthrough), and there was only one bug I experienced that took place in the tutorial. The entire rest of the game seemed fine.

Granted, I didn't do a lot of sidequests and pretty much just played through the main story missions and perhaps a handful of sidequests or gigs, but like... overall, it was really good.

And if you look at the reviews for the game on Steam, they reflect that a lot of other people seem to agree:
ALL REVIEWS: Mostly Positive (78%) as of 1/7/23
RECENT REVIEWS: Very Positive (88%) as of 1/7/23

The disparity in ratings people gave the game in the past ("mostly positive") vs the relatively high reviews given by players playing more recently ("very positive") strongly suggests that CD Projekt put a lot of work into fixing up their game's problems post-launch.

And "very positive" or 88% positive recent reviews is a good score for the game, so if this is the type of game that appeals to you (story rich RPG), I strongly recommend buying it.

Bought the Game last Year, before some of the bigger Patches and it was just fine and i had a Blast.

I think most Problems were on the last Gen Consoles and this took the whole Reputation down.

So on PC, just go ahead and have fun.
Speak for yourself, Cyberpunk is still selling after 2 year.
Don't forget all the donkeys that were "playing" the game on below minimum specs, (and i'm sure crappy laptops) that still went ahead and made negative reviews while knowing it their fault to start with.

Those are the "special" kind of people that think just because they have a "computer" and it runs "windows 10" that it should run all the games at 4K ultra presets at a solid 120fps or else they're going to pour pure hatred all over your games in the review section.

Whenever I play a game on hardware that gives me less than 60 FPS minimum, I keep my mouth shut about it because I know I am not experiencing it the way it's meant to be. I have sadly also met those who thinks they will game at 144 FPS just because they bought a 144 Hz monitor.

I was still using a GTX 1080 when it was released so I didn't even bother with it back then, though I received my RTX 3080 shortly after the game release (after 3+ months of waiting) and made CP77 my "test game". The game looks gorgeous, always did, and there are tons of things to do in the game, but the bugs made the experience so bad at first.

For me especially, as I played at a resolution not yet supported (7680x1440 / 48:9 aspect ratio). If I were to give a 2020 rating of CP77, I'd say 2/5. As it is now, I would give it 4/5. It's still too limited to terms of freedom and features, the AI is dumber than bread, and the lifepaths doesn't feel nearly as relevant as I hoped they would be.

Referencing your other thread regarding the review bombing:
https://www.gog.com/forum/cyberpunk_2077/you_cant_trust_reviews

...I just sorted the Cyberpunk 2077 reviews by "most helpful" and "most positive" - and both categories shows reviews from 2020. The game was still on 1.03 back then if I remember correctly - and it was no more than barely playable at that time with all the bugs.

And the whole Playstation 4 debacle only happened because the investors pushed it there. CP77 should never have been released on "previous gen" consoles in the first place, but the money overruled that sensibility, as it usually does.
