Hello, I recently bought cyberpunk 2077 on PC once I heard there was cross progression. I was excited as I had 2 major playthroughs on my xbox and didn't feel like doing it all over again, or so I thought.

You see, I linked my account on xbox to GOG/CD Project Red and even linked my xbox live account to GOG yet I see none of my saves that I had on xbox, on pc. I searched online and saw that other people cannot transfer from Xbox to PC either. Apparently PC to Xbox works but not the other way around.

If any GOG or CD Project Staff sees this, please report this problem if it has not been reported on already as I do not wish to redo 150 hours of gameplay.

You have to load your saved game and resave it after cross progression is enabled for it to sync with the cloud. Then, it will show for you on PC.
EDIT: Just saw some people are reporting saves don't work from xbox to pc elsewhere. I have an xbox, and this wasn't an issue for me. My saves cross saved both ways just fine.

If my directions don't work, I'm sorry but I can't help you. This is the only fix I know of.

Hi, I did what u said and the file still doesn't show up on my PC save files. Maybe I didnt do it right? i load in the file that had the cloud thingy on then manually saved it again and still doesn't show up on my PC. A vid would really be helpful.

Unfortunately it's beyond what I can help with. I got someone to get their cross saves enabled by following these directions going from pc to xbox, but it seems xbox saves are bugged for some people.

Well, this is quite unfortunate as I did everything you've said before, redid it just incase and my saves still didn't transfer unfortunately. I re-downloaded the game on Xbox and it didn't do anything either so I guess I'm stuck waiting.

It's weird that my PC saves also do not show up on my xbox even though I am on the same account. Relogged in to and it didn't do anything. I hope a CD project mod sees this post soon and gets this fixed by the next patch. One can only hope.

I have the same issue going from Xbox to PC. I feel like the cross-platform save is quite buggy at the moment. I have load and save lists disappear for a while and take ages to load, maybe due to the number of saves and playthroughs I have, not sure. I think it is an issue with the sync, which often is telling me "cant sync due to heavy traffic load". Hopefully a hotfix is on the way.

Strangely enough, my 50hr PC playthrough shows up synched to my Xbox and loads, but it cant go the other way. So odd.

Yes, I also have the extremely slow save lists on my xbox as well. Most likely an issue with syncing as whatever I do, it does not want to sync

I guess I'll have to play it for the 4th or 5th time now, which I really don't mind. Tell me when you guys find a fix for it appreciate it.

I'm in the same issue, it's possible to import from PC to XB1 but I can not import from XB1 to PC :/

I have exactly the same problem. On my PC, the cloud icon is displayed for every savegame. With such an arrow upwards. On the Xbox, however, not a single save game from the PC is displayed. Only the ones I have on the console.

Strangely, I have to activate the cross save with QR code every time I start the game on the console. No idea why he does not remember that. But this is really annoying, because I'm very far on the PC and would like to continue on the console.

Is it maybe because I have the Steam version?

Now currently, even no save game is displayed at all. Everything is empty.

Apparently this feature doesn't work so well yet.
In fact, I strongly suspect that it won't work with the Steam version. You need the GOG version.

UPDATE:

I just got an email back from CD Project Red from the report I gave them and apparently they are looking into it. The email I got from them was on September 30th, not sure why I did not see the email but regardless, they've kept their word. As if you open GOG and go to Cyberpunk, it says that:

"We have scheduled a maintenance of our Cross Progression service for Cyberpunk 2077 on October 10th through 11th, starting 2 PM CEST on Monday."

Fingers crossed this actually works.

Nope :/ sadly it still doesn't work for me, even after the october 10th update. If anyone solved the problem please let me know!!
