Was running just fine before the update. Now it won't load. Sorry I updated.
Noticed the download was fairly fast but the update took a lot of time..

Before and after verifying files, same error message.

"Cyberpunk 2077 encountered an error caused by a corrupted or missing scripts file and will now be forced to close

Please verify integrity of game files for Cyberpunk 277 before the next launch."

Any way to roll back the update?

i got similar problems. Game profile seems damaged, i can´t create new savegames and it also crashed one time so far.
Edit: the problem affects the quicksave and older savegames before version 1.63.

Tried various things. Verified a couple of times - No effect.
Disabled many mods - no effect.
Since the error message said scripts, I deleted all the scripts:

Cyberpunk_2077\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\scripts

That allowed Cyberpunk to run but messed up Vortex.

3 mods were updated, so I updated those and those are running in spite of an empty script file???

Don't know if that's a scripting issue; mods not updated; mods thoroughly messed up by 1.63 update

Don't know if Vortex (or other mod managers) need to be updated to fix.
I DO NOT have REDMOD installed.

Sadly, I had just done a complete clean install of Cyberpunk a couple of weeks ago & got it and the mods running well.
I've turned off automatic updates in GOG Galaxy. Now it's all messed up again. While I'm looking forward to the DCL, I am not looking forward to all the problems it may cause if I ever get the main program running the way I'd like.

Will hold off downloading the DLC until I see what damage it causes.

A few more Mods were updated including RED4ext - that seemed to fix several for me. As well as allowing Vortex to repair/replace the script files I had deleted and not crashing when starting up Cyberpunk.

Suggest you go to NexusMods, click on the UPDATE tab and update anything there that you have installed & see if that helps any of your mods as well as crash on start.

Just chiming in to say that I've also had this problem. Ever since the update, game simply doesn't make it past the title screen before CTD. Tried verifying, tried fresh install, nothing. Nothing about scripts though, I just get the generic 'has flatlined' message. Absolutely no insight as to what is wrong.

Complete vanilla instillation, no added mods.

Running on a 3080, installed on SSD.

I had lots of problems with the 1.63 update, crash/error message right at start up (frustrating they broke this game again for half of their player population)... but I updated my nvidia drivers and it seems to work now. I don't use mods, vanilla only.

Yeah, same here...
Played over 120 hours without any issues.
now i cannot play for even 2 min. IF I get past the intro screens.

I tried these
- newest Game Ready Drivers
- newest Studio Drivers after clean de-install
- repairing game
- re-installing game
- clean boot
- even tried the fix from nexusmods,, which did not work

If you got more ideas, I think I can rule out the problem lying on my end.

Most users are not using RT for performance reason or even a incapable system... reason why we hear probably not much about.
