Starkrun: Have you tried verifying the game and updating graphics drivers? they added a new rendering tech into the RTX pipeline with the Hotfix mine was odd until i got the new Nvidia Drivers. They also no longer support the Nvidia 700 series GPU's and will soon stop supporting windows 7 in future patches.

1. Locate the savegame files in your hard disk and make a backup.
2. Delete savegame files
3. Start the game (not from GOG Galaxy. Execute the EXE in the game folder). The game will start as if you had just installed it, without any saved game.
4. Play for a while and save the game.
5. Exit the game and replace the files with the ones you had in copy.
See if that solves the problem.
For some reason, it is possible that the savegame files have been corrupted.
