I had this problem the next day after the release, but its solved itself alone, i think gog servers are just crap right now because of the volume of players wanting to download the play the same game.
for now i saw if you can play the game just turn off the cloud feature
Despite always getting to 100% it also always fails...

Just to be safe I've been using game save manager 3 to make backups. It saved my ass in dark souls 3 more than once and it's giving me some peace of mind in Cyberpunk since the cloud system is probably overloaded at the moment.

Game save manager 3 has its own website and its free so if you Google it you will find it. gsm4 will be out soon too and it will be significantly faster. I've been beta testing it.

Ok I'm done shilling my.buds program lol.

+1
Getting this message too.

Says there is a heavy load. It will restart the next time I launch a game.
Still getting it today
still getting it :/ cant use my save in geforce now
I had this problem until the latest update for GOG GALAXY was downloaded and installed.

BluesyMoo: It's like the first time ever that I get Cloud Sync failed on GOG Galaxy. Curiously, turning off cloud sync doesn't make it go away. Any ideas?
Saw this elsewhere. This worked for me.
Go to your saved files users/name/saved games/cd projekt red/cyberpunk/ you will see saved folders at the bottom is a file user.gls
Back up that file or as I did the whole saved folder.
Then delete user.gls
Start the game (assuming you can) continue and do a manual save (escape, save).
Close the game and it should sync. Hope it helps.
It works now, but none of the achievements I unlocked yesterday pop up.

Man this really pisses me off. I can't even play OTHER GOG GAMES because GOG's servers are broken.
Happened again just 10 minutes ago, the servers are getting hit hard
I haven't managed to play the game at all. I always get a flatline saying the game had failed to sync. I turned off cloud syncing with no more success. I tried to verify the game, but I couldn't wait for 7.6GB to be downloaded.

I turned off automatic updates (I only just installed the game a couple of days ago). Just turned them on again and it wants to download 7.6GB.

This is all so tiresome.

Hey, if you can- try uninstalling and installing.

- if you cant go to %GOG Galaxy% / Games . *copy* and delete Cyberpunk 2077. paste it it a different folder and
restart your computer. Open gog and click on the weird icon of switches next to play -> import folder -> select the folder you have posted cp into. worked for me although i had a slightly different issue. Good luck!
Cloud Sync hasn't worked for me the last 48 hours.
