I keep getting a "Cloud Sync Failed" on GoG Cyberpunk 2077. Can anyone help me? "Delayed to due heavy Load"
This question / problem has been solved by PaladinNOimage
Don't know whether you want to sync the game data or just play the game, but if it's the latter, you can try running the game locally, without using GoG Galaxy.

You can find the .exe in your game install folder, located at:
Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\Cyberpunk2077.exe

Other than that, the message "Delayed to due heavy Load" points to a server issue, i.e. nothing you can do about it other than wait for the server load to be reduced.

That's the thing. I have a laptop and desktop and I want to play it on different ones from time to time. But my saved games won't transfer from my laptop to my desktop. Is there a way this can be fixed?
In that case, just use a regular USB pendrive and transfer the files manually.
Issues like this is exactly why I keep my games exclusively offline.

i forgot to ask. How do I copy and play the files?
Do I just copy and paste?

Assuming your save data is identical on both machines (which I do recommend, so to not mess anything up), just copy the save game files from one machine and overwrite on the other, and then back again to progress on what will technically be the same savegame.

Just make sure you have the same game version / patch on both machines to avoid corrupt data issues.

EDIT:
And run the game LOCALLY. DO NOT use GoG Galaxy, because that could screw things up with its useles cloud save-feature.

Is there a guide to run it locally? How do I do this? Does this mean i'll have to transfer saved files manually back and forth and play it locally?

How to run the game locally, without using GoG Galaxy? I said that in post #2:
https://www.gog.com/forum/cyberpunk_2077/cloud_sync_failed_1/post2

Just find the .exe and run it directly. That's all.
That is literally the whole point of GoG games - that you can run them locally and offline, without the need of a game client.

And yes, if the automated cloud sync won't work, then you will have to transfer the save file manually with a thumb drive back and forth every time you want to continue on that save on another device.

for some reason it shows up as "save file curropted". if i go on my laptop. all my saved files from August show up. but if i go on my desktop only my saved filed may show up, nothing further.

This does not work for some games like Dying Light unfortunately.

I'm not surprised Dying Light specifically gives issues. That game is sadly a console port, and that makes technical difficulties by default.

Not to mention the Dying Light patches - if you thought the Cyberpunk 2077 patch numbers / game versions was hard to keep track up, the Dying Light patches will keep you up at night! Those are a real nightmare.

I honestly just stopped updating Dying Light, unless I had a specific issue or new content that I "had to have". Which there really isn't - am still trying to get all the Requisition Packs in Old Town (the spawns are just F'ed up), and I'm still salty about not getting the Neon Storm buggy skin with the Platinum Edition of the game here on GoG.
