Since update 1.6 after launching Cyberpunk 2077, i am experiencing some sort of bug because of which i am unable to walk in the game, instead my character only dodges in the direction im trying to walk by holding down the corresponding key how i normally would to walk.
After disabling the double tab to dodge key in the settings, i negates the problem, but after turning it back on, it doesnt resolve the issue.
But after having disabled dodging entirely, i have noticed that when pressing w and d or a, my character walks very jagged, like not smoothly but with very small steps forward and left or right, still with the same speed, but just not smoothly at all.

First and foremost, i have already tried to Re-install the game and run the scan/ repair option, each multiple times (all on GOG Galaxy), and before that I had tried to fix the issue myself by using a trick i found online to essentially disable the doddge function by double tapping the walking keys, that worked, except that my character would still dodge whenever i would do something else like switching weapons.

Does anyone recognize this issuea and/ or know how to fix it? Any Help would be apprciated

Have you tried disabling and renabling the tap-to-dodge option in the menu?

I threw myself off a ledge so many times when just trying to position myself that I had to disable the dodging "feature" completely.
I haven't had the issue you describe though, but there could be some correlation.
