I had to reinstall GoG Galaxy 2.0 because it kept telling me it couldn't connect, and I couldn't run the GoG Connection Service. So I uninstalled and reinstalled.

When I did that, it refused to recognize that I owned any games at all (I own like 30 games -- not all installed, but you'd think they'd show up on the "owned games" page, no?)

I finally got it to manually recognize Cyberpunk 2077's install by scanning my C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\GoG Galaxy folder

I tried to update it -- it said no updates needed.

So I ran it -- nope. Patch 1.63.

So I deleted it.

AND NOW I CAN'T REINSTALL IT?!!!! I go to the Cyberpunk 2077 Store page, and it says I can buy the game as a gift, or I can "Go to my Library." So obviously I choose "Go to my Library."

When I'm in my Library there, it shows all the games I own -- weird that it shows them there, but not on the Owned Games page. Whatever...

So I click on Cyberpunk 2077. It takes me to that page. I then click on the "Settnigs" icon -- next to "Overview" and "My Progress" at the top. When I point to "Manage Installation" EVERYTHING IS GREYED OUT!!!! To top it all off, it doesn't even have an "Install" option in that "Manage Installation" menu!!! It acts as if the game is still installed, with an "Uninstall" option in there - but that option is also greyed out!!!

(EDIT: If, from the Library page where it actually shows all my owned games, I click on the down-arrow in the Cyberpunk 2077 tile, and then click "Install," IT DOES NOTHING!!!)

HOW DO I REINSTALL THIS GAME?!!!! I have uninstalled and reinstalled GoG Galaxy like 3 times now. Clearly that's not the problem. WHAT IS GOING ON?!!!

Same thing happening to me - appears to be an issue with GOG Galaxy as all my GOG games are missing
delayed/broken on GOG

FINALLY FIXED IT!!!

***CLOSE GOG GALAXY BEFORE DOING THIS*** Also give it about 60 seconds for the GoG Communication Service to stop. It runs in the background and shows up in Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc to view Task Manager). Just wait until it disappears.

Go to GoG.com in your web-browser. Log into your account there, if you're not cuurently logged in.

On the GoG home-page, point to Store in the upper-right corner. Point to RPG. Click on Cyberpunk 2077 (it should be the first game in the list.)

After you've clicked on it, it will take you to the Cyberpunk 2077 page. You should see, if you're logged into your account and you own the game, two buttons -- "Buy as Gift" and "Go to My Library." Click Go to My Library.

Point to -- DO NOT CLICK ON -- the Cyberpunk 2077 item in your Library's list of games. A "down arrow" should appear. Click on that down arrow.

From the pop-up menu, select View Downloads. It will take you to a page that says "Install Game with GoG Galaxy." Click on the "Download and Install Now" button. It will download a file named "GOG_Galaxy_Cyberpunk_2077.exe"

Run that file after it's done downloading.

It will run GoG.

GoG will FINALLY say "Importing," and will show a % complete. LET IT FINISH!!!!! DO NOT INTERRUPT IT!!!

When it's finished, it *should* automatically go to the Cyberpunk 2077 page, and you'll *finally* see an "install" button at the top. Just WAIT!! It will initialize the install automatically. (If it doesn't do that, it *should* un-grey-out the Install button, at which point you can click on it and it will install.)

Anyway, my GoG Galaxy installation is fixed now. And Cyberpunk 2.0 is installing. *whew*

Best of luck to you all.

Same problem! but your solution worked fine. Thanks!
Well, here I couldn't update it. The update process failed after 4 hours of download, despite 300+ GB of free disk space.

Typical Galaxy.

Doesn't work for me. Restarted computer and followed steps and it doesn't work. Shows up in library but not "Owned Games". No download button on the game's page and clicking install from library does nothing.

Ok I just opened the installer .exe a bunch of times for like 5 minutes and it eventually worked.
