I'm not able to use wasd due to a disability and need to rebind the f key. Whenever I try I get "binding failed" and I've tried before and after updating the "exit vehicle" command (which as a default is bound to the f key).

Wondering if anyone has found a solution. Thank you.

I have the same issue, did you figgure out why or if it is fixable ?

Why they would hardcode a key to the game is another matter. They should`ve known it was going to be an issue.

Sorry I'm a bit late but I found the solution in this thread

There are essentially two files you'll have to edit. It takes about 10 minutes max but ctrl+f is your friend.
