is there a way to download a specific game version like 2.1 for example? i know you can dowgrade to the former version via the galaxy option but just one version it seems.

because version 2.11. seems to have mady my fps to drop, id prefer to keep it on the previous one but the offline installers that you can download manually are already for version 2.11

No.

You can only download the latest offline installers. Once it has been replaced by the most recent version, the older versions are gone. Even support will not help you out. You should always download & store a copy of an older version & patches if you ever decide to downgrade to an older version. The only exception so far is you can still download version 1.63 since it is a completely different game.

This is what you should do.
Use GoG Galaxy to downgrade your game to 2.1 and confirm it is working & adjust your settings to your liking.
Once you have everything working - make a backup copy of your setting file.
Go to where Cyberpunk 2077 is installed and COPY the whole game folder.
Back up this folder on a different drive or better, 2 copies.

The next time your game bricks, and you want to go back 2.1 and its not available on Galaxy.
Delete or rename Cyberpunk 2077 game folder and
Copy the Cyberpunk 2077 folder of 2.1 into your game folder.
No install required. There is no DRM.
Make sure you disable auto-update in Galaxy. because it will try to update your game.

edit: I think they added a new settings for cpu core usage, change it to windows managed. That might be affecting your fps. a poster stated the new setting is not working.

thank you alot for your detailed instruction..

yes i know the cpu upgrade, i tried it the first time i updated and it completely fucked up the performance so i deactivated it and even downgraded and upgraded it again to version 2.11. this time without even activating it once....

but still my framerate is noticebly worse after the update to 2.11 with exact the same settings...i tried it twice with downgrading (where i checked if the performance was really better or if it just felt like it....it was better) und upgrading via the galaxy installer
I do remember Cyberpunk 2077 had issues with settings saving correctly so I think you can try:
and sometimes they screw up after patching as well.

mark down your settings
reset all your settings to default
exit game
reload game
redo all your game settings
save
exit game
reload game
profit?? see if your fps is good?

thanks alot, i tried that right after i noticed the bad performance after the first update and checked in the steam forum...

it helped to make it better after the processor core setting fucked things up but the perfomance was still worse than before the patch and the same like when i did update it a second time....

i usually test it in Vs apartment where the fps drop by at least 5-20 fps compared to before the patch while looking out of the window or running to the computer/Turning around fast

it seems that i m not the only one with the problem of a worse framrate/drops: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1091500/discussions/0/4210371088510643889/

i only have the stutters with the new core option but a noticeable drop in fps

I still have the offlinefiles of version 2.1 (german) but I can not think of a good way to share it with you AND I think GoG would not like this maybe?! :/
